About Bank Transfers
This will require you to obtain the bank account details from the company (or
bingo site) that you wish to transfer your money (funds) to. You will also need
to ensure that you put a reference on the transfer as stated by the company (or
your name at the very least). This reference is used by the receiving account to
identify your transfer from their statement. Once identified, they credit your
account with them with the finds that you have transferred allowing you to
purchase the goods or services that you require.
Note that if you forget to put the reference on your transfer, the receiving
company will not be able to identify your transaction from the many others in
their account. It will also require communication from you, usually by phone
call, to them to track down the missing payment. Worst case scenario may require
you to photocopy your bank statement as proof that the payment was made from
your account to the them to assist the receiving party in locating it on their
statement.
The downside of this method of payment is that most banks take between 4 and 6
working days to complete the transfer. This usually means that you will not be
able to buy the goods or services you want (or play bingo) on the day that the
funds are transferred. It will require some advance planning of when you might
want to buy the goods or services online. There goes the spontaneous buying.
